Abundance mindset by Amy Shelver

Sitting on the sidelines
watching my friends burn
Lives flipping over
it’s their turn

It’s hard not to want to carry them
And while they learn to stand alone
I’m about as effective as a stone

Sometimes that’s the hardest lesson
of them all
To know you’ve gotta catch yourself
when you fall

They carry the world
on their shoulders
Trying to walk too tall
And the weight’s big
as big ol’ boulders
And it’s hard to move
without a stall

It’s time to unwind it all
Time for empires to fall

Yet we long for just another night
We cry for what’s come and gone
but it’s all right

There’s a horizon
that you just can’t see
It won’t reveal itself that easily
But it’s there, I know, I promise,
A new reality
And it’s hard as hell
to hold out hope for clarity

It’s time to unwind it all
Time for empires to fall

Trust is another thing we ain’t got
But there is a universal abundance
that will improve our lot
We gotta believe in the god of little things
And the peace that small kindness brings

It’s time to unwind it all
Time for empires to fall

Just let them fall
Let it all go
Let it go

Then begins the real show
We share them boulders
Big and bright
Suddenly they’re all light

And watch ourselves grow
Among them stones
Free ourselves from being clones
Because we know, we know, we know

How to let it all go…

Sometimes you gotta have nothing in hand
Before you can receive what’s planned ▪️
